• NASA launches Voyager VI. The probe falls into a black hole (or some other spatial phenomenon) during its mission, and contact is lost. (Star Trek: The Motion Picture)

The launch date does not come from The Motion Picture, but it is referenced in the Star Trek Chronology.

• Vin thought the New York Yankees team of this year was the best he had ever seen. (DS9: "Past Tense, Part II")

Interestingly enough, this episode aired in early 1995, and the Yankees did happen to win the 1999 World Series.
