Airman

Airman was a junior rank used in the US Air Force during the 20th century on Earth.
In 1968, a United States Airman became one of the first humans to see a Vulcan when Commander Spock, trapped back in time, rescued Captain Kirk from the US 498th Airbase Group base in Omaha, Nebraska. Spock applied a Vulcan neck pinch to an Air policeman who was guarding Kirk at the facility. (TOS: "Tomorrow is Yesterday")
- The Airman in the episode was not given a name, but was addressed by his rank when Lieutenant Colonel Fellini stated "See what that is, Airman" when Spock knocked at the office door where Kirk was being held.
