Antede III was the third planet in its system and was the homeworld of the Antedeans. It was located with three days travel of the planet Pacifica, and the inhabitants had antagonistic feelings for the Federation.
In 2365, the USS Enterprise-D was assigned to carry two delegates from Antede III to a conference on Pacifica, where their species would be offered Federation membership. The delegates turned out to be assassins. (TNG: "Manhunt")
