8 January - Suzanne Rachel Forbes is born.
12 January - TOS: "The Squire of Gothos" airs.
19 January - TOS: "Arena" airs and first draft script for TOS: "Operation -- Annihilate!" is submitted titled "Operation: Destroy!" with a final draft following on 24 January and further revisions on 3 and 13 February.
26 January - TOS: "Tomorrow is Yesterday" airs.
27 January - Rewrite draft script for TOS: "The City on the Edge of Forever" with revisions coming 30 January and 1 February.
early January - TOS: "This Side of Paradise" is filmed.
mid to late January - TOS: "The Devil in the Dark" is filmed.

15 March - The New York Times publishes corrections to NBC's previously announced fall 1967 schedule. Star Trek, previously announced as airing Tuesdays at 7:30PM, has been moved in the revised schedule to Fridays at 8:30PM.
23 March - TOS: "Errand of Mercy" airs.
30 March - TOS: "The Alternative Factor" airs.

1 May - First draft script for TOS: "The Changeling" is submitted. First draft script for TOS: "The Gamesters of Triskelion" is also submitted, titled "The Gamesters of Pentathalon".
2 May - Final draft script for TOS: "Amok Time" is submitted with a second revision coming 5 June.
