Arloff IX

Arloff IX was a planet of the Arloff system.

In 2364, the starship USS Charleston was assigned a mission to this planet. The Charleston later radioed to the USS Enterprise-D that they would extend their stay. The Enterprise-D, carrying three survivors from a cryonics satellite, rendezvoused with the Charleston at Arloff IX. The Charleston left soon after on a trip to Earth, a trip of many months which gave time for their three passengers to adjust to life in the 24th century. (TNG: "The Neutral Zone")
