Cormaline

Cormaline is a relatively common mineral mined on many planets. Worlds with rich cormaline deposits include Kabrel II in the Alpha Quadrant, Torga IV in the Gamma Quadrant, and Ocampa in the Delta Quadrant.

The Kazon-Ogla maintained a cormaline mining camp on Ocampa, and exchanged the mineral with other Kazon sects. (VOY: "Caretaker")

In 2373, Starfleet sent a team from Deep Space 9 to Torga IV to investigate the possibility of mining the planets rich deposits. (DS9: "The Ship")

Lauren mentioned the cormaline deposits on Kabrel II in 2374, although she thought it was too common to attract the Dominion into an attempt to get the Kabrel system ceded to them by the Federation. (DS9: "Statistical Probabilities")
