The Eska hunted drayjin for food and for trophies.
According to the Eska, Drayjin meat is "one of life's great pleasure." Commander Charles Tucker III described a Drayjin as "looking like a big nasty pig and kind of tasting like one, too."
Drayjin are migratory and females can be very aggressive especially if they're protecting a nest. The Wraith native to the rogue planet were known to turn into drayjins in order to hide from the Eska hunters. (ENT: "Rogue Planet")
