Edward Regis

Ensign Edward Regis was a Starfleet crewmember serving aboard the USS Equinox in 2371 when the ship was thrown into the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker.

In 2375, Regis was killed by the nucleogenic lifeforms who had waged war on the Equinox. His death occurred about the time the Equinox made contact with the other Federation ship stranded in the Delta Quadrant, the USS Voyager. A service for Regis, along with several other Equinox personnel killed around that time, was held in the mess hall aboard Voyager. (VOY: "Equinox")

Ed Regis was a character in the novel "Jurassic Park", where he was eaten by a "baby" T-Rex.
