An electrophoretic diffuser is a medical device capable of removing the effects of radiation poisoning from an organic liquid.
In 2373, Doctor Julian Bashir used an electrophoretic diffuser to purge tetryon radiation isotopes from an infant changeling. However, the radiation had already irreparably damaged the changeling's morphogenic matrix, and it eventually died. (DS9: "The Begotten")
