Elizabeth Castro was a visual effects coordinator and assistant during the latter part of Star Trek: Voyager's run and the entire run of Star Trek: Enterprise.

Along with the rest of the visual effects crew, she was nominated for a number of Emmy Awards for "Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series". She won in 1999, (VOY: "Dark Frontier") 2002, (ENT: "Broken Bow") and 2004, (ENT: "Countdown") in addition to being nominated four other times in 1999, (VOY: "Thirty Days") 2000, (VOY: "Life Line", "The Haunting of Deck Twelve") and 2003. (ENT: "The Expanse")

When Enterprise ended, she moved on to work in Crossing Jordan as a visual effects producer.
