Doctor Elizabeth Lense (2371)

Lieutenant junior grade Elizabeth Lense was assigned as Chief Medical Officer of the USS Lexington (NCC-61832) in 2369.

At a New Year's Eve party at Bruce Lucier's in 2367 Lense confused Julian Bashir with his Andorian friend Erib.

Doctors Lense and Bashir were both graduates of Starfleet Medical Academy in 2369, where Lense was the class valedictorian and Bashir was the salutatorian.

In 2371, the Lexington conducted a layover at Deep Space 9, where the two finally met face to face. She told him that she wished she had taken the post on the station, longing to be able to conduct a long term project. This was something she was not able to do on the Lexington. (DS9: "Explorers")

Lense was played by Bari Hochwald.

In the non-canon Pocket Books' Star Trek: Starfleet Corps of Engineers series, Lense goes on to become the chief medical officer of the USS da Vinci after the end of the Dominion War.
