Emily Banks played the part of Tonia Barrows in the Original Series episode "Shore Leave".
Banks got her start in 1960 when she was elected Miss Rheingold, appearing in advertisements and promotions for Rheingold Beer. In 1963 she appeared as a model for the game show Say When!. Contestants were presented with merchandise, and were required to build their "pot" by selecting items to get close to, but not exceed, a total. Banks modeled these items. Two years after her run ended in 1964, she got her first movie role and first television guest appearance; she worked intermittently in both forms until 1968, including Live a Little, Love a Little, an Elvis Presley movie that also starred Celeste Yarnall.
