  • This is the second of IDW's "Second Stage" releases.
  • Three covers were produced for this issue: Cover A with Kirk and Arex, Cover B with Spock, and one retailer incentive photo cover featuring Kirk disguised as a Romulan from "The Enterprise Incident".
  • McCoy refers to the events of the "The Tholian Web" as having occurred "one year ago", dating the issue to 2269.
  • The issue sold an estimated 11,012 copies in comic specialty stores in April 2008. [1] These figures do not cover copies sold on the direct market (bookstores, etc.).
