The third planet of the star Epsilon Canaris, Epsilon Canaris III is an inhabited planet. In 2267, Assistant Commissioner Nancy Hedford was dispatched there to prevent the outbreak of war. The Commissioner developed Sakuro's Disease and had to be evacuated; subsequent events made her return impossible, and necessitated the assignment of another mediator. (TOS: "Metamorphosis")
