Gamma Hydra is a star in Federation space approximately 130 light years from Sol and the central star of the Gamma Hydra system of planets in the Gamma Hydra sector, proximal to the Romulan Neutral Zone and Starbase 10. (TOS: "The Deadly Years"; Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)

- Gamma Hydra is a real star (spectral class G8III) which is visible in the east extreme of the constellation "Hydra" (The Serpent), a magnitude 3.11 star about 8 degrees below the ecliptic.
