Actor Graham Jarvis (25 August 1930 – 16 April 2003; age 72) played Klim Dokachin in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Unification I".
Outside of Star Trek, Jarvis has been a part of numerous television series. He was a regular on Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, on which he played Charlie Haggers from 1976 through 1978. Recurring Star Trek: Deep Space Nine actress Salome Jens had a recurring role on this series during the first season. Jarvis and Jens would also co-star in the 1981 made-for-TV movie The Two Lives of Carol Letner.
In 1979, Jarvis had a role in the TV mini-series Blind Ambition. Also featured in this series were Lawrence Pressman, William Schallert, James Sloyan, and William Windom. In the 90s, he appeared in two TV movies featuring Christopher Lloyd: T Bone N Weasel in 1992 and In Search of Dr. Seuss in 1994. The latter movie also featured Matt Frewer and Patrick Stewart. Jarvis and Lloyd had previously appeared in the 1983 feature film Mr. Mom, along with Teri Garr, Carolyn Seymour, Bruce French, Michael Ensign, and Derek McGrath.
From 1993 to 1999, Jarvis had a recurring role in the computer game series known as The Journeyman Project as Saros/Dr. Elliot Sinclair, a displaced, xenophobic citizen of the lost city Atlantis, that would become the inventor of the time travel mechanism that formed a major part of the series in the far future. He appeared in The Journeyman Project (1993), its sequel Buried in Time (1995, uncredited), The Journeyman Project: Pegasus Prime (1997) and finally The Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time (1998) alongside Jerry Rector.
His other film credits include The Organization (1971), What's Up, Doc? (1972, with Kenneth Mars and Sean Morgan), Deal of the Century (1983, with Wallace Shawn, Richard Libertini, Richard Herd, and Tony Plana), Silkwood (1983, with Bruce McGill, Bill Cobbs, and Jim Beaver), Tough Guys (1986, with Matthew Faison, Hilary Shepard, and Jeanne Mori), and Misery (1990).
Jarvis more recently made appearances as Charles Jackson in numerous episodes of 7th Heaven, a television drama which stars Star Trek movie stars Stephen Collins and Catherine Hicks.
Graham Jarvis died of myeloma in 2003. He was 72 years old.
