Ian Abercrombie (born 11 September 1936; age 71) is a British actor who has had many roles, but is probably best known as Mr. Pitt in the American comedy Seinfeld, which co-stars Jason Alexander as well as many other Trek alumni. He played a voiceover in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Family", Abbot in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Someone to Watch Over Me", and Milo, a holographic resident of Fair Haven, in the Voyager episode "Spirit Folk".
Outside of Trek, he also played Alfred the butler in the short-lived series Birds of Prey with Dina Meyer and played the Wise Man in the cult classic Army of Darkness.
