James Komack (3 August 1924 – 24 December 1997; age 73) was the director of the classic Star Trek: The Original Series episode "A Piece of the Action". He is best known as the producer of two television series from the 1970's, The Courtship of Eddie's Father and Welcome Back, Kotter.
