Jumper

A jumper is an El-Aurian nickname for a child or young person who enjoys jumping on objects, typically furniture, whenever the opportunity presents itself. Jumpers are often described as calm and quiet children when adults are present.

Ro Laren was revealed to have been a repressed jumper during her youth on Bajor amidst the Cardassian Occupation during a conversation with Guinan when both were turned into children by a transporter accident. (TNG: "Rascals")
