Klingon cruiser

A Klingon cruiser was a type of cruiser utilized by the Klingon Empire during the 2360s and 2370s.

In 2364, the Klingon cruiser IKS T'Acog was sent to sent to apprehend the Klingon criminals Korris, Konmel, and Kunivas, who had commandeered the Talarian freighter Batris. (TNG: "Heart of Glory")

The following year, another Klingon cruiser passing near the Theta 116 solar system reported discovering pieces of a strange vessel in the upper atmosphere of the planet Theta VIII. In response, the USS Enterprise-D diverted from its course to investigation. (TNG: "The Royale")

In mid-2374 three Klingon cruisers, under the command of General Martok were sent to bolster up the defense of the Durala system during the Dominion War. (DS9: "The Reckoning")

As suggested by the Star Trek Encyclopedia, this class may simply refer to an alternate name for the K't'inga-class.

It may also refer to an unspecified class of Klingon Bird-of-Prey, as the IKS Pagh, which was also referred to as a cruiser, or it may refer to an entirely different and unseen class of starship.
