The Kyrian-Vaskan homeworld is a planet in the Delta Quadrant, inhabited by two humanoid species, the Kyrians and the Vaskans.
In 2374, the USS Voyager visited the planet and traded medical supplies to the Vaskans in exchange for dilithium. During the talks, the Kyrians raided Voyager, taking several hostages and stealing several pieces of technology, including the Emergency Medical Hologram backup module.
Shortly after, the Great War broke out between the Kyrians and the Vaskans. The Kyrians were defeated and relegated to second-class citizens. Over time, the Vaskans and the Voyager crew came to be portrayed as the aggressors of the war, with the Kyrians as innocent victims.
Seven hundred years later, the backup copy of the The Doctor was activated by Quarren, curator of the Museum of Kyrian Heritage. He corrected the inaccurate reconstructions of Voyager's visit, paving the way for peace on the planet. (VOY: "Living Witness")
- The planet is presumably located in the Vaskan sector, which also contains the class Y planet of the Silver Blood, visited by Voyager shortly after the events of "Living Witness".
