Lana was a Human woman living in San Francisco during the early 2400s.

In an alternate timeline, Lana and the Doctor got married in 2404, six weeks before the 10th anniversary of the return of the USS Voyager. Her grandfather was named Joe, a name the Doctor adopted. (VOY: "Endgame")

Lana was played by Amy Lindsay.
