Lapsang suchong tea is a distinctive tea with a smoky flavor that originated from the country of China on Earth. It is considered to be one of the strongest flavored teas, its taste is caused by the leaves being laid over pine fires. Often a compliment to spicy foods, it is best served clear, or with milk.

In Earth fiction, Lapsang suchong tea is the favorite blend of mystery thriller character Sherlock Holmes.
