Latimer

Lieutenant Latimer was a Starfleet navigator serving aboard the USS Enterprise under Captain James T. Kirk.
In 2267, Latimer was the pilot of the shuttlecraft Galileo while it was collecting data on the Murasaki Effect. He was the first of two officers killed by the inhabitants of the planet Taurus II, following the shuttle's crash there. (TOS: "The Galileo Seven")
