Leon Rippy

Leon Rippy is an actor who played L.Q. Clemonds in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Neutral Zone".
He appeared in The Patriot, starring Mel Gibson and featuring DS9's Rene Auberjonois. Other motion pictures he has appeared in include Firestarter (1984, with Louise Fletcher), The Color Purple (1985, with Whoopi Goldberg), Maximum Overdrive (1986, with John Short), The Bedroom Window (1987, with Wallace Shawn, Brad Greenquist and Mark Margolis), Traxx (1988, with Herschel Sparber and Robert Miano), Moon 44 (1990, with Malcolm McDowell and Brian Thompson), Young Guns II (1990, with Christian Slater and Tracey Walter), Kuffs (1992, with Christian Slater), Universal Soldier (1992, with Lilyan Chauvin and Tommy "Tiny" Lister, Jr.), Stargate (1994, with Erik Holland, Erick Avari, and Frank Welker), Eight Legged Freaks (2002), and 2004's The Alamo.
He recently starred in the acclaimed HBO TV series Deadwood, alongside Jim Beaver, Brad Dourif, and Alice Krige. He currently plays Earl in the TNT series Saving Grace, which also stars Roger Aaron Brown, Steve Rankin, and Mark L. Taylor.
