The miner was a part of a mining group that planned to mine an asteroid that a Talaxian colony was on. When Commander Nocona ordered the Talaxians to leave or the mining group would begin blasting, Brax threw a rock that hit Nocona in the back. He ordered this miner to bring him Brax but was stopped by Neelix when he tried to harm the Talaxian boy. Later he accompanied Nocona aboard the USS Voyager for negotiations with Captain Kathryn Janeway. (VOY: "Homestead")
