M. Keating was a 22nd century member of Earth Starfleet, one of the personnel listed on the dedication plaque of Enterprise (NX-01). Keating was listed in the group of names of representatives responsible for the vessel's orbital ergonomics. (Star Trek: Enterprise set artwork)

Keating's name was listed among other homages to production staff associates, many of whom in the "orbital ergonomics" section were members of the costume and hairstyling departments. This name was seen on the Enterprise dedication plaque.
