Malaysia
From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference.
Malaysia is a region on the southeast Asian continent on Earth.
In 2151, Lieutenant Malcolm Reed mentioned Kota Bharu, a coastal city in the northeast of the Malaysian peninsula where he was planning to meet his parents for a holiday. (ENT: "Broken Bow") Both of his parents resided in Kota Bharu. (ENT: "Silent Enemy")
In 2377, Malaysia obviously was a quite popular site for vacation as Commander Peter Harkins' cousin owned a beach house there. Harkins offered Lieutenant Reginald Barclay to lend it to him, but Barclay declined in favor of visiting Commander Deanna Troi during his vacation. (VOY: "Inside Man")
