Michael K. Harris is the actor who portrayed Ambassador Byleth in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Liaisons".
Harris was a regular on the short-lived UPN science fiction series The Burning Zone, which aired during the 1996-97 TV season. He also played the character of Bishop in the 1999 Babylon 5 TV movie A Call to Arms, co-starring Marjean Holden, Scott MacDonald, Tracy Scoggins, and Tony Todd and directed by Mike Vejar. Additionally, he was seen in the pilot episode of the short-lived Gates McFadden series Marker and guest-starred along with Jonathan Frakes and Frakes' wife, Genie Francis, in the a 1995 episode of Lois & Clark (starring Teri Hatcher and K Callan).
In addition to these, Harris appeared on such programs as Tales from the Crypt (starring the voice of John Kassir), Matlock (in an episode with Jason Wingreen), China Beach (starring Robert Picardo, Jeff Kober and Concetta Tomei, in an episode with Scott Lawrence), L.A. Law (with Corbin Bernsen, Larry Drake, Jennifer Hetrick, and Diana Muldaur), Renegade (starring Leonard Kelly-Young and Branscombe Richmond), Cybill (with Ellen Albertini Dow, Jeff Allin, and Alex Henteloff), ER (in an episode with Hamilton Camp), Pensacola: Wings of Gold (with Stanley Kamel and Kristanna S. Loken), Seven Days (with Simon Billig, Norman Lloyd, and Craig Wasson), and NYPD Blue (starring Gordon Clapp, with Stanley Kamel). His film credits include 1991's He Said, She Said (co-starring Leon Russom), 1993's Suture (co-starring David Graf), 1995's Sleepstalker (with William Lucking), and 2001's All Over the Guy (with Andrea Martin). He also produced, co-wrote and starred in the 2003 drama The Technical Writer.
