Neuro-stabilization regimen
From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference.
A neuro-stabilization regimen is a series of treatments that attempt to stabilize certain neurochemical levels in the brain. It is the most common form of treatment for Forrester-Trent Syndrome.
The treatment is often used by Starfleet doctors, and is not 100% reliable, but in most cases the patients respond to treatment well. In many cases the effects of the disease can be even reversed.
In 2370, Jason Vigo underwent these procedures aboard the USS Enterprise-D to treat his Forrester-Trent Syndrome, which he received while undergoing genetic resequencing. (TNG: "Bloodlines")
