A neuroelectric weapon is a type of directed energy weapon used by the Swarm species. It causes excruciating pain and severe neural trauma.

In 2372, Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres were hit by these weapons when the Swarm boarded their shuttlecraft. Paris suffered deep neurological tissue damage and required a motor cortex reconstruction. (VOY: "The Swarm")
