Neurogenic telepathy is a form of telepathy used by some lifeforms as a means of communication.
The bioplasmic organism referred to as the telepathic pitcher plant used neurogenic telepathy by means of a neurogenic field. In 2375, the organism, via neurogenic telepathy, convinced the crew of the USS Voyager that they were entering a wormhole leading to the Alpha Quadrant when they were in fact being lured in to be consumed.
