Neurogenics

Neurogenics is a field of science that deals with monitoring or manipulating the energy involved with transmitting information throughout a lifeform's brain, nervous system and its various chemicals and neurons.
- The term "neurogenic" was first used in DS9: "Life Support". The above definition is based on the various applications of the term throughout later Star Trek series, and is in general agreement with current-day medical use of the word.
