The Nyberrite Alliance is a political entity a long distance from starbase Deep Space 9. It apparently has good relations with both the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire.

The Nyberrite Alliance is always eager to hire experienced officers for their fleet; Lieutenant Commander Worf contemplated signing aboard a Nyberrite Alliance cruiser after the conclusion of his assignment on Deep Space 9 in 2372. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior")
