Peterson family (24th century)

The Petersons were a family who lived on Deep Space 9 in 2370.

Miles O'Brien and Keiko O'Brien left their daughter, Molly with the Peterson family when they went on vacation that year. It was humorously suggested that Molly liked the Petersons better than her own parents. (DS9: "Tribunal")

It is possible, but not confirmed, that this could be the family of Crewman Peterson, a Starfleet serviceman who served on Deep Space 9. Mr. Peterson perished aboard USS Defiant in 2372, as seen in DS9: "Starship Down".
