The photonic disruptor is a weapon used by the Lokirrim, designed to create a disruption field that decompiles the matrices of targeted holograms. They were employed in the Lokirrim's war against insurgent "photonics".

In 2377, Lokirrim warships used photonic disruptors against holograms on the Delta Flyer and the USS Voyager in separate incidents. The disruptor threatened the Doctor, who was saved when Seven of Nine downloaded his program into her cybernetic matrix. (VOY: "Body and Soul")
