Porakan egg

Porakan eggs are a delicacy from planet Porakas IV. They appear light brown with little spots in a darker tone of brown. Their size equals that of Earth chicken eggs.

In 2373, Neelix prepared scrambled Porakan eggs with a little dill weed and touch of rengazo for breakfast, he called a "galactic favorite".

Porakan eggs are not easy to prepare, Neelix had to sterilize them in a cryostatic chamber for three days, after which each and every one had to be parboiled. (VOY: "Flashback")
