A pork chop is a cut of meat from a pig, an Earth animal.

While learning the concept of humor, while doing stand-up comedy at Charnock's Comedy Cabaret, Data told the classic joke, "I was so ugly as a child they hung a pork chop around my neck so the dog would play with me." (TNG: "The Outrageous Okona")

In 2376, Dr. Lewis Zimmerman, aboard Jupiter Station, requested pork chops for a meal. His assistant Haley instead brought him salad, remarking that it was healthy.
