A power node is a small energy-generation device.
The USS Voyager crew salvaged two working power nodes from the wreckage of a Borg probe in 2375. (VOY: "Dark Frontier")
Later than year, Neelix acquired a power node from the merchant Onquanii to enhance the replicator system. The node contained transkinetic energy regulators and bio-neural control circuitry, later found to be Druoda technology. (VOY: "Warhead")
