Progress report

A progress report is a type of report that Cardassian Guls recorded during the Occupation of Bajor, and included the Gul's whereabouts.

Gul Darhe'el's progress report during the Gallitep labor camp mining accident was found to reveal Aamin Marritza's deception in pretending to be Darhe'el. (DS9: "Duet")

The term was also used by Starfleet officers, but referred to a verbal status report on a task rather than a written account. Captain Kathryn Janeway asked Ensign Harry Kim for a progress report of their attempt to send a transmission through a micro-wormhole to the Alpha Quadrant. (VOY: "Eye of the Needle")
