A racket is a spatulate reticulated instrument used for playing games such as tennis, springball or racquetball.

As a guest of Enabran Tain in 2370, Julian Bashir offered to give Tain his opinion on the new nillimite alloy racket. (DS9: "The Wire")

In 2370, Nog stole Kira Nerys springball racket, only for her to discover it two years later as he was selling off all 'his' possessions prior to attending Starfleet Academy. (DS9: "Little Green Men")

In 2373, Miles O'Brien hid Kira's springball racket, because he didn't want her to play springball while carrying his son. (DS9: "Looking for par'Mach in All the Wrong Places")
