Actor Richard Carlyle (born 20 March 1920; age 88) played Lieutenant Karl Jaeger on the original series episode "The Squire of Gothos".
Carlyle had roles in the films Torpedo Run (1958), The Gallant Hours (1960), and Harper (1966). He also made guest appearances on several television series, including 77 Sunset Strip, The Untouchables, and Wanted: Dead or Alive.
