Rick Scarry is a veteran television and film character actor who portrayed Jarth in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Man of the People".
He has appeared in more than 60 television series and roles and a number of feature films since the start of his career in the mid-1980s.
Movies he has appeared in include Addams Family Values (1993), In the Line of Duty: The Price of Vengeance (1994, also with Tina Lifford, Brian Markinson, Dean Stockwell, Dell Yount, and Susanna Thompson), Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult (also 1994), Trial by Fire (1995, also with Keith Carradine, Dell Yount, and Richard Riehle), The Negotiator (1998, with Brad Blaisdell, Tim Kelleher, Jack Shearer, Bruce Wright, and Michael Shamus Wiles) and Space Cowboys (2000).
Among his countless television series are Newhart (along with Tony Papenfuss), L.A. Law, Murder She Wrote, Babylon 5 (along with Andreas Katsulas, Bill Mumy, and Anthony De Longis), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and The Practice.
