Rufus Hearn

Rufus Hearn is the makeup lab technician for the Proteus Make-up FX Team during their work on 2008's Star Trek.
Hearn constructed props and models for the 1996 films Beyond Desire and Space Truckers before becoming a hair technician on the John Woo/Nicolas Cage films Face/Off (featuring John Carroll Lynch and Harve Presnell) and Windtalkers (starring Holmes Osborne and Christian Slater). He also created props for the 1999 video game Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun, which featured Nicholas Worth.
More recently, Hearn did prosthetic and makeup effects work for the 2006 film Hood of Horror, featuring Jason Alexander and Tucker Smallwood. He was also a special effects makeup artist on the independent film Changeling, featuring Nikita Ager.
