Ryan was a guard featured in the Vic Fontaine holoprogram, as indicated by his name tag. During the heist at Vic Fontaine's casino that had been taken over by the mob, Kasidy Yates distracted him by flirting with him. She told him that he looked like a football player and a former classmate of hers. (DS9: "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang")
