Sally Caves

Sally Caves is the pen name of Sarah Higley, a writer who worked on TNG: "Hollow Pursuits" (writer) and DS9: "Babel" (story).
She is a professor of English at the University of Rochester in New York. She teaches medieval literature, cultural studies, science fiction, and creative writing. Along with her published work on Old English, Middle Welsh and Old Norse, she has published stories in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction and Terra Incognita.
Her claim to fame is her creation of the Reginald Barclay character and coining the term holo-addiction.
