Satler's species were a humanoid species from the Alpha or Beta Quadrant. This species was characterized by ridges on the nose and forehead. Contact between the Federation and this species took place by 2369. In that year a member of this species, Satler, was engaged as part of a mercenary group that intended to steal trilithium resin from the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Starship Mine")
