Seth Cobb

Seth Cobb is an effects artist working as a previsualization artist on Star Trek as a member of Persistence of Vision Digital Entertainment (POV). He previously worked with POV as a post-visualization artist on Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Cobb is a 2003 graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Art. From 2003 through 2004, he was technical director at the Florida-based Purple Isle Productions. From 2004 through 2005, he was a motion graphic artist at affiliates for Savannah-based affiliates of the Fox and ABC networks. Also during this time, he worked as a 3D Generalist at 4front Studios.
As an employee at Rhythm & Hues, Cobb was part of the visual effects department on the films Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties (featuring Ian Abercrombie), 'The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and Night at the Museum (featuring Bill Cobbs). He most recently did lighting and compositing work for 2007's Beaowulf, whose cast included Star Trek: Enterprise's Dominic Keating.
