Soba noodles were a Japanese food from Earth. Soba noodles were a type of pasta made from buckwheat, and were usually eaten cold in a thin broth or sauce.
Hoshi Sato disliked her grandmother's soba noodles as a child, but by 2153 they were one of her favorite foods. (ENT: "Exile")
