Stan Lee (born 28 December 1922; age 85) is likely one of the best known comic book creators, being the creator or co-creator of a number of famous characters, including Spider-Man, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four. He has worked primarily at Marvel Comics, including acting as the editor-in-chief for the company for the longest period of time of any editor-in-chief. When he left the position in 1972, he stepped into the role of publisher, a position he held for quite some time longer.

During the time when Marvel held the Star Trek license, he was credited as "presenting" a number of the titles, including Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Voyager - Splashdown.
